Medicare Patient Notice
As of August 1, 2026, our office will no longer be participating in the Medicare program or Medicare Advantage. This means that after this date, we will no longer be able to submit claims to Medicare, nor receive Medicare or Medicare Advantage payment for the care that we provide.
If you are a new or existing Medicare patient and would like to be seen in our office after this date, Medicare rules require that we enter into a private contract. This agreement means that you would be responsible for payment for services including office visits and surgeries. Medicare will not reimburse you for these services. Our office also has the right to decline to enter into such a contract depending on patient volume, clinic availability, or other circumstances.
For existing patients with Medicare, if you prefer to continue your care with a physician who accepts Medicare, you are welcome to do so. Our team will assist with transferring any medical records as needed. Please note that this change only affects my individual participation with Medicare. You can still receive care from other physicians and providers that accept Medicare at HSS.
